Timothy Markee Brooks

On April 30, 2025, God sent his angel to receive Timothy “Tim” Markee Brooks into his mighty Kingdom. He was born on March 16, 1978, to the late Thurman Witcher and Joyce Brooks.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Samantha Brooks and Jeanne Grant; granddaughter, Rayna Fladger; maternal grandparents, Phil and Mattie Brooks; maternal uncle, Ralph Brooks, Sr.; and cousin, Terence Brooks.

Tim was educated in Franklin County. He enjoyed cracking jokes, playing his loud music, hanging out with his children, and going to car shows. Tim was loved by his community, co- workers, and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Rashaun Fladger of Roanoke, VA, Te’Sean Brooks of Buckingham, VA; one daughter, Timara Brooks of Abingdon, VA; two brothers, Sherman Witcher, Freeman Witcher both of Rocky Mount, VA; godmother, Carolyn Wainwright, Rocky Mount, VA; very special friend, Cecelia Kidd; special cousins, Telisha Preston, Alicia Brooks, Christoper Brooks; special secretary, Sandra Turner; favorite aunts, Nancy Preston, Frances Spencer; special uncle, James Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Tim will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will remain with us forever.
