Richard Tuning

Richard Daryl Tuning, 69, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, passed away on May 25, 2025, surrounded by family. Richard, lovingly known as Daryl, was born to Charles and Dorothy Tuning on September 22, 1955, in Welch, West Virginia. Daryl graduated from Welch High School in 1973 and went on to own and operate a successful car detailing business, T&T Cosmetic Car Care, for over 30 years. He was very passionate about T&T and took immense pride in taking care of his beloved customers. In addition to car detailing, Daryl enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Remaining to cherish Daryl’s memory are two brothers, Charles Tuning (Awilda) and Kenny Tuning (Hilda); and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceding Daryl in death are parents, Charles and Dorothy Tuning; sister, Charlene Eldridge; and dear friend, Laurie Chitwood.

Family will receive friends during a public visitation on May 31, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12 pm at Stanfield Mortuary Service. A private funeral and burial will follow on May 31, 2025, at Stanfield Mortuary Service.
