Paul Zebrowski

December 6, 1944 — February 23, 2024

With great sadness we announce the passing of our husband, father, uncle, cousin, grandfather, great grandfather and dear friend,  Paul Joseph Zebrowski on February 23, 2024.

Paul was born December 6, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Brauneslau J. (Barney) Zebrowski and Marian (nee Zaller) Zebrowski Voelker.   He was the youngest of his beloved siblings who preceded him in death: Jim (Jo) Zebrowski, Betty (Dave) Buchanan, Faith (Bob) Johnson. Proud of his Polish heritage, he grew up in Cleveland’s Collinwood neighborhood & Euclid, Ohio graduating in the top 5% from Euclid High School in a class of over 1,000. He was an extremely gifted athlete playing baseball, golf, softball, amateur pro-bowling and he was an avid player of cards, darts, pool, horseshoes, board games and lover of Rock-n-Roll.   Paul worked for Sears & Roebuck, Great Lakes Diesel Allison, WW Williams, and Fed Ex to name a few.

Paul loved his children, Lori Lynn and James Paul.  He was an intelligent, fun and adventurous father…coaching, teaching, spending time with and supporting his children and their friends in Strongsville, Ohio.  He encouraged his kids to “  “Believe in yourself”, “Think bigger”,  “Suck it up” and “Have as much fun as you can possibly have.”  He loved his family dearly, spending time with them often ended with competitive card playing or horseshoes by lantern light.

His passions included traveling North America and visiting most of the National Parks, tent camping in all sorts of vehicles like his Olds 442, his burnt orange Lincoln and a 5th wheel and building/fixing things.  He loved trying new foods, getting the feel of the places he visited talking by with everyone and sharing stories.  In 2006 he was hit by a drunk driver, losing his beloved wife/ travel partner, Edith.  After a long recovery, he started over, returning to AZ, getting his real estate license and marrying the love of his life, Donna.  They moved to Ferrum, VA, buying a home, that they lovingly refurbished and creating huge vegetable/flower gardens and a walking trail that they cherished.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Donna Zebrowski, children:  Lori (John) Karpinsky, and Jim (Heather) Zebrowski, grand children:  Jordan, Jenna, Jaclyn and John Jr (Anna) Karpinsky, Zachary and Lauryn Zebrowski, great-grand daughter: Kaitlyn Karpinsky, Donna’s sons: Jason and Ryan (Pauline) Roggensee and their children:  Quinn and Jack Roggensee.  He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins and best friend, Howard Komora.
