Mother Gladys Lula Smith

Mother Gladys Lula Smith was born on Tuesday, October 8, 1935, to the late David & Julie Trotter.  She departed this life on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Stanleytown Health and Rehab, making her tenure on this earth 88 years and 20 days.

Mother Gladys was preceded in death by her Parents, David & Julie Trotter; a Son Anthony Reynolds; four Brothers Samuel, Marshall, Rudolph and Earnest Trotter and one Sister Thelma Jones.

She leaves to cherish her Precious Memories, her devoted Husband, Brother Glenwood Smith of the home, Daughters; Connie (Fitzgerald) Gravely of Rocky Mount, VA, and Annette Reynolds of Martinsville, VA; Grandchildren Terrick Reynolds of Roanoke, VA, LaShawna Rose of N.C.; Great-Grandson, Javon Jones of Bedford; one Brother, Walter (Ruby) Trotter; Step-children, Glenwood Jr. (Donna), Clarence (his friend Robin) Smith, Nickilas and Michelle Estees, Step-Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren, a host of relatives, friends and her Church Family.
