Douglas Lashon Penn, 37 passed away on Monday February 26th at his home. Born January 6th, 1987, he was the son of Matilda Penn of Fieldale and Marvin (Michelle) Hairston of Ferrum.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance Latoya Woods of the home, daughter Ayanna Dashon Penn; sisters Shannon Hairston of Martinsville , Va and Demetria Brooks of Collinsville, Va. Host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Stanfield Mortuary in Rocky Mount is serving the family.
